“Y’all Joking Right?”: Cowboys Fans Furious Over Team Requesting To Interview Kellen Moore For Head Coach

From 2018 until 2022, Kellen Moore coached the Dallas Cowboys. Moore served as the offensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022 after serving as the quarterbacks coach in 2018.

In 2023, he was appointed offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Chargers, and in 2024, he was appointed offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles’ offense, led by Kellen Moore, is among the best in the NFL this year.
The NFL Network stated that the Cowboys have formally asked to interview Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore for the head coaching position, as they are now seeking to interview candidates. It’s funny because after he left a few years ago, Dallas asked for an interview with him.

 

From 2015 to 2017, Moore also played quarterback for the Cowboys. Whether the Eagles will let him interview with Dallas will be interesting to watch.
Many Cowboys supporters oppose Moore being hired as the team’s new head coach because they allowed Mike McCarthy to leave earlier this week. The front-runner to lead the Cowboys in the 2025 NFL season may be Deion Sanders. Before owner Jerry Jones chooses the next head coach for this team, it can take some time.
